Investing Dividend Tracker
Our story

Built by a dividend investor, for dividend investors

I started Investing Dividend Tracker because I was tired of messy spreadsheets, missed ex-dividend dates, and broker apps that only showed one account at a time. I wanted one calm place to see what I owned, what I had been paid, and what was coming next.

Built from experience

Created by someone who actually tracks dividend income across multiple accounts.

Subscription-funded

Pro subscriptions are the only revenue source, so our incentives stay aligned with yours.

Informational only

A tool for your own research, never personal advice or paid stock placement.

Why I built this

Like a lot of dividend investors, I started with a spreadsheet. One tab for holdings, another for dividends, a third for upcoming ex-dates, and a growing list of formulas that broke every time I added a new stock. Then I would open my broker app and realise it only showed that one account. My ISA, SIPP and trading account each lived in a different place.

The numbers that matter most were scattered everywhere: what I owned across every account, what each holding had actually paid me, when the next ex-dividend date was, and whether my income was genuinely growing year over year. I wanted to make better decisions, but I was spending more time reconciling data than thinking about my portfolio.

Investing Dividend Tracker came from that frustration. It is a calm, durable record of your dividend journey. Automatic where automation is reliable, editable everywhere it is not, and designed around the way dividend investors actually think.

The real problem with dividend tracking

Dividend investing looks simple from the outside, but the day-to-day reality is fiddly. Broker apps are built for trading, not for income history. They rarely show your whole dividend timeline, they do not connect across providers, and they often hide the ex-dates you need to qualify for the next payment.

Spreadsheets are flexible, but they are fragile. A missed row, a broken formula, or a currency conversion you forgot to update can throw off your entire income picture. And when a dividend is delayed, split, or paid in a different currency, the spreadsheet does not warn you. It just shows the wrong number.

What dividend investors need is not another broker app or another template. They need one place that knows what they own, what they have been paid, and what is coming next.

What makes this different

Investing Dividend Tracker is built around the idea that your dividend income deserves its own home. You add your holdings once, and the app helps you track payments, upcoming ex-dates, yield-on-cost, and income growth over time.

We do not ask for your broker credentials. There is no bank connection, no account scraping, and no reliance on a single provider being perfect. You stay in control of your data, and you can edit or correct anything that looks wrong.

Pro adds deeper tools for people who want them: dividend safety scores, AI portfolio insights, benchmark comparison, backtesting, portfolio-wide DRIP simulation, and more advanced forecasts. The core tracker is free and unlimited, because the basics should not be locked behind a paywall.

How we make money

Only from Pro subscriptions, and nothing else. We do not run advertising, we take no affiliate commission from brokers, we accept no payment to feature a stock or fund, and we do not sell or share user data.

That matters for a tool like this. The moment a tracker earns money when you trade, its incentives stop matching yours. Full pricing is on the pricing page.

What we deliberately do not do

  • We do not connect to your broker or bank, and never ask for those credentials.
  • We do not tell you what to buy or sell, and we publish no price targets.
  • We do not claim regulatory authorisation; we are a software tool, not a regulated adviser.
  • We do not present estimated dividend dates as confirmed ones; every date is labelled by source.

Trust and transparency

Our data sources and their limitations are documented on the data & methodology page, and how your data is stored and protected is on the security page. Questions we have not answered belong on the support page · we read every message.
